What payment methods do you accept?
Our payment processing is handled by PayPal. In addition to being able to pay from your PayPal account, they accept all major credit cards as well as e-checks. You do not need a PayPal account in order pay through PayPal.

Do I need a PayPal account?
No.

Is my personal information secure?
Yes. We’ve chosen to work with PayPal for processing payments because they are trustworthy and reputable. All payment information is handled and secured by PayPal.

What are the various eBook formats you offer?
All eBooks published by RP are available as Adobe PDF, Mobipocket and ePUB.

Is it true I can download all 3 formats for the price of one?
Yes. You are welcome to download any and all of the formats for each book you purchase. For instance, you may download the PDF to use on your PC and download the Mobipocket to read on your eBook reader.

Are Republica Press’s eBooks encumbered with with DRM (Digital Rights Management)?
No. Books published by Republica Press are DRM free. This does not mean that you can share them with others.

How do I get my eBook(s)?
Upon successful completion of payment you will be redirected to a download page from which you can download all the formats of the book(s) you purchased. You will also receive a thank-you email with a link to the download page. You will be able to download your book(s) for up to 72 hours after your purchase. If for some reason you miss this 72 hour window, please contact customer service.

Can I buy an eBook as a gift for someone else?
Yes! There is a "Give As Gift" button on the shopping cart page. Clicking this button before checkout will allow you to enter your recipient's name and email address as well as a personal message. Upon checkout your recipient will receive an email notification informing them that they have received a gift. The email will provide a link to the download page which will be decorated with a large red bow in the top right corner as well as your personal message. You will be copied on the notification email. Your recipient will then have 72 hours to download the eBooks you purchased for them. If there is any difficulty in downloading the eBooks within that time, customer service will be able to help.

I can't seem to add a book to my shopping cart, what's going on?
Both our shopping cart system, and our payment processor (PayPal) require cookies to be enabled in your browser. If you are having trouble adding a book to your cart, please check to ensure that cookies are enabled.

Yes!

How much do you pay?
Republica Press pays a royalty of 65% of net sales for sales made on-site. So for sales made on RepublicaPress.com, you are paid 65% of (the sale price – PayPal’s fee). For sales made on other sites, you are paid 50% of what we’re paid from that site. If you’d like more specific numbers please contact Aaron.

Is there any cost to me?
No, absolutely not.

How often are royalties paid?
Royalties are paid quarterly.
