A gunman killed two people at a Wisconsin casino late Saturday and seriously injured a third, according to the police.
The police shot and killed the attacker outside the Oneida Casino and Radisson Hotel complex in Green Bay, Lt. Kevin Pawlak of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office said at a late-night news conference.
“It appears to be a targeted event, not a random shooting,” said Lieutenant Pawlak, who did not identify the attacker. He said the gunman’s apparent target, a person who worked at a restaurant in the complex, was not at the scene. But the gunman “decided to shoot the victim’s friends or co-workers, it appears,” he added.
